Mardi Gras is extremely typey, with correct breed type, correct conformation, bone, substance and breathtaking movement. He is a Royal Welsh Champion (UK -- the largest Welsh Pony show in the world) and TWO TIME US National Champion, the most recent being in 2007. He has won over 100 Championships in the show ring, in both halter and performance. 

Mardi Gras is available at stud to mares of all breeds, via quality shipped semen. All foals eligible for WPCSA registration. At 13 hands, Mardi Gras is an excellent size to breed to larger mares to produce hunter and sport ponies. He is also approved Weser-Ems Sport Pony (Oldenburg GOV).     Adagio's sire, Carolina's Red Fox (deceased), has been on the USEF Leading Hunter Pony Sires list since its inception, was the #1 sire on that list in 2002 and is currently ranked #1. He was also a Welsh Pony & Cob Society of America Supreme Champion and sire Legion of Merit winner. His dam, Llanarth Rhapsody, is by Twyford Signal, sire of many Welsh champions and out of Downland Redwing from the famed Downland Stud in the UK.

    Adagio himself was the 2006 1st place winner of the 2 year old class at Upperville, was 3rd at Devon that year and first at the Maryland National. He was also the WPCSA American National Champion Jr. Section B Stallion as a yearling in 2005. 

    He has beautiful conformation with a lovely head and neck. His movement is long and low with a big step and plenty of hind end impulsion. Adagio's temperament is quiet and loving and he is a perfect gentleman at all times. Adagio is available at public stud via A.I. only to approved mares. We are always happy to provide the best service possible to owners of quality mares.

    He has already been selected for breeding to by some of the top pony breeders in the country and is destined to follow in his famous sire's footsteps. Adagio is capable of siring champion ponies for the Welsh breed ring and the "A' circuit hunter ring.

    Land's End Rondo is a 2005 Section B Welsh pony stallion and is a full brother to Land's End Adagio. He is a liver chestnut sabino and stands 12.2hh. Rondo has the same wonderful temperament that Adagio possesses and is an incredible mover. 

    He is the perfect cross for horse mares to produce outstanding hunter ponies with the elegance, type and movement to win on the "A" circuit.
